Deploying the Client
This guide is for IT teams installing Remotle on many devices with Intune, Configuration Manager, Jamf or a script.
Windows

A newer MSI upgrades an older one. Installing an older MSI over a newer one is refused. The MSI removes earlier Computle clients first.
Setup.exe switches
The setup program also installs silently:

The setup log is written to %TEMP%\ComputleRemotleClient-<version>-setup.log.
Deploy the signed and notarised package:

sudo installer -pkg ComputleRemotle.pkg -target /The app installs to /Applications/Computle (Remotle).app. Requires macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon.
To use system shortcuts, users need Input Monitoring and Accessibility access for Computle (Remotle). The app also asks for Microphone and Camera access. See Mac Permissions.

Update settings
Section titled “Update settings”Remotle updates itself. By default, updates install between 02:00 and 05:00 local time, never during a session. You can change the window and the channel.

Linux: /etc/computle-stream/update.conf, one Name=value per line, with the same names as Windows.
Turn off USB devices on a device
Section titled “Turn off USB devices on a device”To stop a device sharing USB devices, set HKLM\SOFTWARE\Computle\Remotle\UsbRedirection (REG_DWORD) to 0. To control USB for the whole organisation, use Device Features instead.
