Device Features

Device features controls what sessions can carry between a user’s device and their workstation: USB devices, and copy and paste in each direction.

Organisation settings

Section titled “Organisation settings”

  1. Open Client settings, Device features.

  2. Set each feature to Allowed or Blocked:

    Feature Controls
    USB devices Sharing USB devices from the user’s device to the workstation
    Copy and paste to the Computle machine Copying from the user’s device and pasting on the workstation
    Copy and paste from the Computle machine Copying on the workstation and pasting on the user’s device

All three are allowed by default.

Changes apply from each user’s next connection.

Per-user exceptions

To give one user a different setting:

  1. Under Per-user exceptions, choose the user and click Add.
  2. For each feature, choose Organisation default, Allow or Block.

Click the bin icon to remove an exception.

What users see

When a feature is blocked, Remotle tells the user. For example, “USB devices are turned off by your organisation” or “Copying to your Computle machine is turned off by your organisation”.
