Remotle: Copy and Paste
Copy text, pictures and files on either computer and paste them on the other.
Text and pictures
Section titled “Text and pictures”Copy as normal on one computer and paste on the other.
- Copy one or more files on one computer.
- Paste them on the other.
A file only transfers when you paste it. Remotle shows the progress while it sends. The limit is 1 GB per copy.
iPad and iPhone
Section titled “iPad and iPhone”iPadOS and iOS only let an app read the clipboard when you ask it to. To send what you copied on the iPad to your workstation, open the menu and tap Send clipboard.
Typing the clipboard
Section titled “Typing the clipboard”The Windows sign-in screen does not accept pasted text. Choose Type Clipboard from the Stream menu (Session menu on a Mac, the menu pill on iPad) and Remotle types the copied text as keystrokes.
When copy and paste is turned off
Section titled “When copy and paste is turned off”Your organisation can turn off copying in either direction. When it is off, Remotle shows “Copying to your Computle machine is turned off by your organisation”. Contact your administrator.
