Graphics hardware

Remotle decodes video on your device’s graphics hardware. If it cannot, it decodes on the processor and tells you during the session. See This device is not using its graphics hardware.

Screens

• Up to 4 screens per session on Windows, Mac and Linux.
• An iPad can use a second screen connected to it.
• HDR needs a screen that supports HDR, and a device that can decode 10-bit video in hardware.
• Full colour (4:4:4) needs a device that can decode it in hardware. Remotle only offers the option on devices that can.
