Host Updates
The host keeps itself up to date. Updates download in the background and install in a maintenance window, never during a session.
How updates work
Section titled “How updates work”- The host checks for an update every 30 minutes.
- When one is found, the host downloads it and verifies its signature straight away.
- The host installs it in the update window. By default the window is 02:00 to 05:00 local time.
- A session in progress holds the install until the session ends, whatever the window says.
- If the new version does not start correctly, the host returns to the previous version by itself.
The host carries the same version number as the client builds, for example 2026-10-11-2304.
